It’s Not About The Numbers has been boning up on celebrity geocachers (again) ….
Recently we alerted you to the fact American gossip columnist Perez Hilton and German professional road cyclist Jens Voigt had both been bragging about their geo-prowess on Twitter.
But now we’ve discovered a fellow convert in American actor Luke Kleintank - pictured right – who is currently starring as lab recuit Finn Abernathy (aka the “hot, new Squintern”) on Fox network’s crime drama Bones. Previous roles for 22-year-old Kleintank include Elliot on Gossip Girl and Noah Newman on long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless.
According to the single actor, his hobbies as whitewater rafting, singing, dancing and writing music. But more importantly, he’s apparently hooked on geocaching. “It’s a worldwide, national treasure hunt,” he told Soap Opera Digest. “You play online at Geocaching.com. There are millions of them all around the world.”
However between “acting and auditions”, Kleintank told It’s Not About The Numbers that he didn’t get the chance to cache as much as he’d like these days.
A while back on Twitter, he was also bemoaning how hard it was to find caches on the United States’ east coast under all those autumn leaves. “But you can still go [geocaching], it’s just makes it harder, but that’s what’s fun about it.”
