The first stage of this geocache took a couple of visits before I found it.

Tammy – Yes that is what I like about Geocaching, the whole exploration ascept. I love being able to have a reason to go off the beaten path to find something. Although I always have lots to do on a hike, writing notes in my hikers log, researching plants I find, or taking pictures, geocaching gives a hike that little extra umph! to really make it more exciting.Tim – Adventure abounds! Geocaching is always an adventure, getting to see sights that you would not normally see from the trail, or going to places you would not normally go because there is no trail (such was the case for me just last week!) I can understand the competition for a first to find though, who doesn’t want to be in first place, after all?
