Merry Christmas From INATN!

I’d planned to begin this festive season post by saying “another year” had passed … but then realised it has only been just over a year since It’s Not About The Numbers first started.

In fact, it was on December 20 last year that we migrated to our own domain, having existed on WordPress.com for a few months. So Christmas 2011 effectively signals the end of the year for us.

And what a year it has been. Both kjwx and myself have enjoyed writing our 360-plus posts, reading your 1000-plus comments and interacting with our 500-plus INATN Facebook group members. Not that it’s all about the numbers! 😉

I think the biggest highlight has been getting to know a huge number of our fellow cachers from across the globe. Each has a unique and interesting story, which is great, but most importantly they are all genuinely nice people and a pleasure to correspond with. Hopefully, our posts have done their stories justice!

Of course, it has also been great for us to work together on this blog, giving kjwx and I our own forum for discussing and debating our mutual geo-passion.

Most of all, we want to thank everyone for taking the time to read our site. We’ve still got a lot of content that we didn’t manage to get out this year and we’re looking forward getting back into it soon!

So, to all of you nice folk out there in geocaching-land …

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Merry Christmas to the Cumbyrocks and kjwx clans, and keep the great posts coming in the new year.

And most impressed with your many Duck impressions this past year (calm and serene on the surface, all the while frantically paddling underneath!)

I like the Duck, well done Gerard.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the geo-siblings at INATN and families.

And a Merry Christmas/Happy New Year to you both … May you find everything you’re looking for in 2012 (unless we’re all in a race for FTF).
Couldn’t stop laughing at your duck comment, GSV, as Cumbyrocks is best known amongst our family (and his charges) for frequently spouting the old “If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck …” adage – though I always finish it in my head now with “it’s probably Peter being bossy again”.
