The Geocacher’s Prayer

Categories: Humour

kjwx is in Auckland today to complete the 101 Dalmations power trail (GC2P7BK). In saying a prayer for her safe trip and successful day, this little gem came to mind*…

US satellites, who are in space,
hallowed be thy signal.
Our positioning come.
Thy work be done on earth,
as it is in the heavens.
Give us today our daily find.
And forgive us when we naked cache,
As we forgive those who find our caches naked.
And lead us not into the gorse,
But deliver us to GZ.
For yours is the signal,
The positioning, and the smiley,
For ever and ever.

*Disclaimer: GPS satellites are not a replacement for your own personal deity, no matter how much you might want them to be. INATN takes no responsibility if your prayers to GPS satellites go unanswered and you DNF. 😉

Slightly (OK, maybe more than ‘slightly’) blasphemous, but still funny!
