Nano Bites – November 4, 2011

Categories: Geocaching News

We don’t have enough time to post on all the things that happen in the geocaching world each week so we’ve decided to produce Nano Bites, a summary of all the best geocaching news online. A quiet week – everyone must be out caching!

GeoJoe at Geocaching Journal declares that the Geosphere geocaching app is the one for his iTouch. Presents: “The Rock” – this is well worth watching and is probably the coolest geocache I’ve ever seen. I so want to go to Germany now!

The Podcacher Show takes an anniversary caching trip for show 342. Along the way, they share some interesting geocaching facebook pages, another special story of geocaching touching lives, a geocaching spin-off game, a GSAK macro created by a listener, and more. Have a listen and keep an ear out for two mentions of INATN! They also squeeze in show 343 with a spooky caches theme.

The Cache-A-Maniacs interview GHeiny.

Portland Cyclist suggests that between geocaching guidelines and various US laws that 99% of caches should be archived.

Debate on the sentencing of convicted geocacher shooter rages again.

Joshua Johnson shows us he knows how to hang ten as well as find a cache or two.
