Are you always the envy of all your geo-friends when you instantly locate the cache after they’ve been searching for 20 minutes or more? If yes, then this might be the perfect giveaway for you.

To celebrate It’s Not About The Numbersnew Facebook group, we promised our fans a great competition once we hit 250 members.

You lot are all so dedicated, though, that we now have 481 followers – putting us among the bigger geocaching bodies on Mark Zuckerberg’s social network site.

Before you start screaming “Shut up, kjwx; tell us what we can win”, here’s what one lucky geocacher will earn:

In total, these goodies are worth NZ$100 or US$85.

To enter, you must be a current member of our It’s Not About The Numbers’ group. Find the competition code posted somewhere on that Facebook page and then rush back to this blog to enter your details in the form below.

The lucky winner will be chosen at random a week from now at 12pm noon (NZ time) on Friday, July 15th.

    Love the Reactive Light thingy but worry that it would look too much like a bomb. If I used it I would only feel comfortable placing it on my own property so Muggles wouldn’t report it to authorities. 😉

      I agree, Sarah, that careful placement is needed. I already own one myself but am still looking for seeking the perfect co-ordinates for the cache it will be placed in.
      Should be noted, though, that the vendor Pecodu recommends leaving the electronics unhooked from the battery until the PET-form is found by another geocacher. Inside are simple and easy instructions for turning it on and off.
      In this situation, a GEOCACHE – NOT HARMLESS label is a must IMHO – and the winner of our Facebook giveaway will receive such a sticker with their prize.
