2011 NZ Recreational GPS Society Geocoin Design Competition

Categories: Competitions Geocoin NZ Recreational GPS Society

The New Zealand Recreational GPS Society is running a competition to come up with the concept for it’s 2011 geocoin. Previously the management committee have done a stellar job of  designing each years coin, but now Society members or New Zealand residents will get the chance to put forward their best ideas and have them immortalised. So, if you are a Kiwi or a Society member make sure you get your entry in before midday on August 10th to make sure you are in the running to win 5 of the 2011 coins (and maybe some other cool prizes).

I know kiwi refers to the bird (right?) but it’d be kind of cool to have the whole coin look like and actual slice of the kiwi fruit! yum!
