That’s right; it’s not about the numbers for American geocacher Joshua Johnson, either – unless he’s editing shots for his latest video log.
For the last three years, the Minneapolis resident (GC handle: Mayberryman) has chronicled his geo-adventures on video and, more recently, in a column for Examiner.com.
The father-of-three and self-described “proud Twin Cities geocacher” says his hobby has taken on him “on adventures he otherwise would not have experienced” – with entering geo-competitions, such as MOGA [the Midwest Open Geocaching Adventure], and going on power runs with friends among his favourite examples.
To complete this v-log for It’s Not About The Numbers, Johnson hiked for three hours to find one cache.
“Some people ask me why I geocache; this should give you a pretty good idea. Adventure, discovery, family, friendship. It’s not about the numbers!”

This is really nice…thanks. I am getting an error message when I click on the video. Then it sends me to a video called “eye in a box”. Weird.

That is very strange. So far I’ve narrowed it down to a weird Firefox issue. It doesn’t seem to replicate with IE or Chrome. Note added to the page suggesting Firefox users right click and select ‘Watch on Youtube’, which seems to work. Will investigate further. Thanks for pointing it out Joshua!
